Thank you to all those lovely people who bought books – and In Our Age subscriptions – from our stall in Hereford High Town on Saturday December 5th. We were overwhelmed with festive good cheer! All monies raised go towards helping us continue our work recording Herefordshire’s living history. Herefordshire Lore is delighted to receive £3000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thank you to all National Lottery players. These funds will help us continue our important work as oral historians in Herefordshire, recording first-hand accounts, and produce our quarterly journal, In Our Age.
Huge thanks to the Community Development Grants Committee at Hereford City Council for supporting our work by granting us £900. We are so happy this will help us to continue to distribute our journal, In Our Age, across the city. It’s great that our local Council recognises the importance of our work. Thank you to all.
